ReptiChip is the best substrate I’ve used for my snakes and I’ll never use anything else. It holds humidity well and the odor control is incredible. The Breeder Blocks are very convenient, last me a long time, and the price for three is pretty reasonable. Shipping is very fast too. You can’t go wrong!

I actually bought (3) 12qt bags of ReptiChip and (1) 12qt bag of ReptiEarth for my newly purchased male Russian Tortoise and he loves it! His Geguri habitat enclosure looks amazing with this substrate and it holds humidity very well so far...will continue to buy!

I purchased the MicroChip for use in a VE I-10 housing hatchling African House Snakes. MicroChip is the perfect size for the small tubs and small snakes.

I had tried numerous substrate products in the past and then a breeder friend of mine shared some breeder blocks of ReptiChip with us to try. It is awesome! I now keep a bin of damp and a bin of dry RediChip to mix as needed. I use the ReptiEarth and BabiChip for my colubrids.

I personally have 27 reptiles and my grandson has followed in my foot steps so I have offered a pack to him to do his few tanks at home. It does hold water. I was surprised how well it holds water. I do my own mixture to create the perfect substrate and this will be a new staple in that mixture.
